It's fun to do from time to time, but after a few months it just gets old. It does keep you sharp, though. Always writing and coming up with concepts.

I'd agree with @Frank Metts. Good writers move on to something more challenging, because battling limits what you can do with a verse. People who know what they're doing learn what wins battles and what doesn't, and if you're worried about winning then you're trapped in that formula box.

ive seen tons of battlers who do topicals and battles i have seen maybe 1 or 2 topicalists that can battle aswell
