What is the beastliest setup possible

I still understand none of it, i just know alot of times when i download stuff, instead of getting sent to some ad type site where you have to wait to skip to get to the dl (like adfly) im now directed to like a "mining" verification process.

So basically a site utilizes my pc for 5 seconds to mine a cryptocurrency before redirecting to a megaupload or something for example

Im too late to the cryptocurrency game to give a shit about learning anything
