It's something that can garner you zero enjoyment in the real world. Because you can't really discuss it with people offline.

Hi I write rap lyrics on the internet. Oh your a rapper? No I just write the lyrics for a bunch of other non rapping internet people to critique. That's not a convo I ever had.

It's only a secret because I don't know anyone in my personal life who writes rhymes. If I did, then cultivating rhymes here would translate into the real world quiet easily. Also, I could hit up open mics if I so chose. I've never had any shame or feelings of being lame because I post rhymes online.
