I've seen a few lists from people whose music opinion I respect (note: only like three people here qualify) with Surf in the top five. It's dropped out of my top 20 since I posted that list, though, replaced by Wolf Alice's My Love Is Cool.

Also, Trapsoul is imitation garbage. Listen to The Internet's Ego Death (which was close to my top 20) if that's the type of music you want.

Here I thought we could break the cycle of people posting their own music choices without listening to each other but I guess 2016 will be more of the same
