Certain's thread made me wonder

The thing is that Pharoahe Monch and Royce da 5'9" are capable of making bad music sound like good rap because they're two of the most skilled ever. @oats murkel seems to be fine with that. I'm not. A lot of guys can rap. Very, very few consistently make great music.

I love Death Is Certain. Independent's Day was a huge disappointment, mostly on the production front.

I feel like Pharoahe Monch has never in his entire career (even with Organized Konfusion) had producers to push him into showing his skills without excess. He sings way, way too often, and he's not good at it, and he goes more obscure than he needs to and raps over bad beats too often.
