nah, I just got a self propelled push, a blower/vac for leaf removal
I just bag the majority and mulch the rest
my yard is just the size where you could go either way on the mower
I'm sure I'll end up buying a riding one anyway, but I couldn't bring myself to drop that much with only like one or two mows left in the season

keep an eye on john deere stores

cop a clearance model and snag it for a decent price, still gonna pay around 4-6k for a good one but it'll last you 10 years vs. spending 1-3k on a cub cadet/craftsman/lowes version of deere that'll last 1-2 years

I've lived with woods in my back yard for years so mulching them looked normal. If you actually gotta decent yard I see how that would prolly look like ass lol
