my yard is just the size where you could go either way on the mower
I'm sure I'll end up buying a riding one anyway, but I couldn't bring myself to drop that much with only like one or two mows left in the season

cop a clearance model and snag it for a decent price, still gonna pay around 4-6k for a good one but it'll last you 10 years vs. spending 1-3k on a cub cadet/craftsman/lowes version of deere that'll last 1-2 years
