What am I? A corrupt kid, lone and perturbed
Only a lost soul that's roaming the earth I chose to be left alone but I'm only disturbed With my choices and these voices.. holding me cursed What do I deserve? Happiness, compassion at heart A boost in life to help me and come back to this art Music is an escape, I break through it and change It's joy, my voice, and helps me move through the day When I listen, it takes me to a beautiful place I'm satisfied with life as it feels soothing with grace But it's a fantasy, I'm trapped, loathing living this way I feel detached, reality is drifting away... Who can I reach out to to vent? What can I change to be blessed? What do I have to accept in order to pass through the stress? I've climbed miles of mountains, ain't seen the last of it yet I feel I've met my only success in gasping for breath... |

Mercy has returned! I dig this a lot bro. Cool rhyme scheme too. Also I relate to your themes, I feel much the same sometimes. What I think really does it for me is that you use a nice steady conversational tone of voice, like most of my favorite rappers. So many people here think they are Aesop Rock or some shit, so it's cool to see someone who aspires to connect to the soul rather than a bunch of mental masturbation just for the sake of it. Moar.
