Another week, another thinning of the herd. I'd like to think we're done with mass no-shows, though I'm sure there will be at least two or three this week even with only 22 members as opposed to last week's 32. Also, congratulations to Lars for winning The Winter Topical, beating dead man 8-6. Hopefully both will be joining our ranks soon.

Topics this week will be centralized and available for your choosing in this thread. For those who are 2-0, it's a good idea to keep in mind that the first contendership matches (two of them) will be next week. So if you want a shot at the first title (and first automatic bid to the playoffs), winning this week is essential.

As a programming note, @dyedinthewool and @Vividlyvague each owe me one extra vote (four total) to receive credit for winning last week, while @YDK and @Innovator owe me three extra votes (six total) for the same. Remember, this is a one-time offer for each member. But it's also a chance to gain a valuable win simply via voting.

Well, it's not a requirement, but one way would be for the first person to check in to post three they like and the second to narrow that to one.

Again, you are not obligated to write to the same topic as your opponent this week.
