study music history instead of making snide comments and you might learn a thing or two.

baroque was seen as exaggerated yet simplistic, most of the techniques used were extremely basic and monotonous, then padded with excessive flourishes to make them seem more impressive than they actually are. add in a ton of ornamentation to cover up mistakes / lack of talent and there you have it. the sampling and autotune of the era.

it's fraud music.

I like Canon in D because of a feeling, not because of the popular consensus of their day which you studied in school.

well I am listening to that symphony of sorrowful songs in the OP and I do not know what this lady is saying, but I think it is literally the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.

Classical > every other genre.

It has nothing to do with "what was studied on school" and everything to do with choosing to listen to that peurile garbage over real "classical" music.

Friendly reminder, all i said originally was I enjoy Canon in D.

My soul decides my music for me. I feel it jumpin inside when something resonates. Perhaps you choose your music differently, or perhaps your soul has a more discerning ear.

I also often enjoy a good cab-merlot blend vs. a cab or merlot itself...

i recognize it's not as pure or true to form, but no connoisseur's rationale will change my taste, bud.
