Liquid Swords is pretty widely heralded as no worse than No. 3 and often called the best. You have some strange taste.

we can all agree Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is number 1

and I think most would say that Brooklyn Zoo, Iron Man, Supreme Clientele are superior to Liquid Swords

I also like Judgement Day better but that is just my weird thing cause im obsessed with that album.


btw I have been playing Liquid Swords in my car every time I get in it for the last week re living it. good album for sure. I just prefer those I mentioned

Iron Man wasn't even as good as Fishscale in my opinion, but I don't mind calling it Ghostface Killah's second best. But to call it better than Liquid Swords puts you in a minority, friend.

And Mike Wrecka, if you're not including Illmatic, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back or The Chronic on your list of albums widely hailed as the best ever, your list is wrong. I've seen those three on top of many more lists than Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

Liquid Swords is more cohesive with better lyricism. OBC4L has the best production of any rap album ever made (I've made a topic saying as such before) but it's uneven. I can listen to Liquid Swords all the way through to this day even after burning it out as a young Wigger Cake whereas if I were to listen to OB4CL now I'd skip a few tracks.

I was basing the rankings based off my own preference and the feed back I have gotten from Wu fans at the many Wu shows I have attended.

I still stand by OB4CL as widely regarded as the best Wu solo album. Supreme Clientele and Liquid Swords would be even in the hearts of the people.

I just gave my top five. I guess my opinion is wrong I didn't know that was possible

Cant argue production. However the lyricism on cuban is superior. My view changed after I learned how much they used metaphors and sub-meanings. Also the story factors on cuban >
