silva can sorta take a punch. he doesnt have an iron chin, he is just quick and efficient in his movements in mma fights against people his size or bigger. its very hard to land clean on silva. but he is fighting dudes his size or bigger.

mayweather is much smaller, and much faster. silva is not a boxer. his boxing would be terrible in an actual boxing match. reach means alot when facing another BOXER. silva is not a boxer

silva would have to take 204 punches. landed. thats giving him the benefit of the doubt that he is as skilled at avoiding mayweathers punches as the average of all of mayweathers previous opponents. he throws 456 per 12 round fight. 204 land

he is statistically the most efficient boxer at punching people and not being punched (only 17 percent of his opponents punches "land". they land the same way dudes land strikes on silva. grazing. ineffective.)

silva can have all the range in the world, his footwork would be trash, he wouldnt be able to hit mayweather, and mayweather would pick in at him. silva would gas much sooner etc

if you really think silva stands any chance you are delusional. he would have to literally get a lucky shot.
