Default Steak, burgers, and cheese sandwiches

A lot of men cheat on beautiful women with fat, disgusting, hairy beasts. Just look at Ashley Cole and numerous other celebs who've been caught with their dick in a moose at one time or another . . .

And there are many women who are surprised by this, as if being beautiful is enough to keep a man faithful. You'll see them arrogantly proclaim: "My man would never cheat on me. Why would he go out ...for a cheeseburger when he has sirloin steak at home?"

This is why:

If a man knows for a one-hundred-percent fact that he has a four-course sirloin steak dinner at home, then he won't eat during the day and he'll save space for it. He'll come home feeling relaxed, knowing he'll have that dinner ready for him no matter what. He's content.

But then Thursday comes around and when he arrives home he's told there will be no dinner tonight, she's tired, she has a headache, she's not in the mood to cook, etc. So he's forced to make dinner for himself. He's cool with it at first; he figures she usually feeds him so it's fine.

However, as the weeks and months go by and he loses the security of always being guaranteed a sirloin steak when he gets home, knowing that on any given day she could be unavailable to cook and he could be forced to make his own food, insecurity and uncertainty creeps in. On his way home he thinks "Am I being fed tonight? Or will she be too tired to deal with my hunger?" And once that's lodged in his brain, he no longer worries about having an empty stomach to make space for the dinner. Now he's concerned with filling that hunger.

So he's on his way home one night and he's offered a free cheeseburger, and he thinks why the fuck not? I might not be fed tonight, I don't know, I might even have to feed myself, and that's not nearly as good as real food. So he eats that cheeseburger.

He knows it's cheap and disgusting and ultimately unfulfilling. It's not even half or quarter as good as the sirloin steak. But it has a certainty and availability that the sirloin steak no longer has. It's quick, easy, and the cook is never tired.

So that's why some men go out for a cheeseburger when they have a sirloin steak at home. And many women will say "I never leave my man hungry", but they don't get that if he requests food at 4 and she gives it to him at 8, that's four hours where he'll be considering a burger because he's not sure whether that sirloin steak is definitely being made or not.

Anyway, I'm not saying it's right or that it's a good excuse, I'm just explaining how a lot of men think. The other side of it is that some guys just get bored of eating gourmet meals every day and want to have something trashy every now and then instead.

Luckily I don't mind cooking for myself, so even if sirloin steak is off the menu for the night, I just have a four-finger cheese sandwich . . . with extra butter.
