what do you think of the Alienware X51? I'm thinking about getting the Intel Core i7/16GB DDR5 RAM/2TB HDD/NVIDIA 660 variant with Windows 7 for $999. Worth the bucks or should I just get one built for me..

that one only has the i5 with 8GB and NVIDIA 550 though.

Alienware is mad over rated and over priced. You put get those specs and a tight looking case on a site like NCIX.com,get them to premake the computer for you and save A LOT of money.

With Alienware you pay for the cosmetic features of the case, which are pretty badass, but not worth it TBH

When I bought all the parts to make one they sent it to me assembled and tested for free and it came with a solid warranty

man alienware is so over priced bro u could build yourself the same computer for a good bit less. but if your determined to buy a pc for gaming instead of building one theres also much better pc's to buy and cheaper ones with the same type of quality
