Romeo and Juliet

What is love?
Tis not hereafter
Present mirth hath present laughter
Whats to come is still unsure
In delay there lies no plenty
So come kiss me sweet and twenty
Youths a stuff will not endure...
But....
My youthful face is fading quick
Its a useless stage to play for tricks
I assume the days of dating chicks
Will come and go like the light through yonder window breaks...its sick.
Romeo must die!
and I'll lick the chalice that once touched his lips,
So the poison left can give me kiss
For Juliet is the sun!
But with these cloudy days she's often mist.
So what is love?
Tis not hereafter?
I've read the book but skipped the chapter
Present mirth hath present laughter
Yet I've loved and lost and can't fix the latter.
Now what's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
Would a smile shine as bright with whitened teeth
Compared to snow on mountain peaks
Or would they dwindle like the dimples in unsmiling cheeks?
A sonnet couldnt describe the love I've tried to harness
Though I've often tried my hardest
To find it, grasp it,
It always seems to end in harm it's...
Retroactive.
I've played the part in every act
I've been passive with an active past.
Picked apart each hour glass
To reclaim the time that soured fast.
And i never really liked sour things so
The taste of fleeting moments remind me of warhead candy
They're so sweet they fuckin hurt my cheeks and i can barely stand it
Like the laughter i once felt with you before i was abandoned.
I say "you" like there wasn't more than 1 or 2 of you that left me stranded
And yet im still smiling at the past like it never made me sad...
And maybe I'm just crazy
Or maybe I'm just waiting
To find my Juliet on her balcony star gazing.
Hopeless romanticism,
When my heart can do the 2 step to a beat
And my feet will slowly slide along my mind with dancing visions
But my anxiety starts to tell me there's a chance i might have missed it.
Somewhere along the way...
Because I've always been shy and slow to act on what i thought,
Maybe you smiled at me years ago and your signals were never caught
Maybe you tried to get my attention but it was all for nought,
Because I'm oblivious to taking hints so your efforts are often lost.
We're Romeo and Juliet
And i plan to love you till we die,
We can take the poison drink together while others call it suicide
But for us to form a family individually we must die.
And for you, my love, its possible;
