the stabilizer was simple enough to install, but i also had the body shop tools to help, if i remember right it was basically like two nuts, but one end goes through a hole in like the axle or some shit. im mechanically retarded. but yea the end that went through the hole was really stuck in there, but since i had the air hammer thing i was able to bust it out. the new one slid right in and put the two nuts on bing bang boom. brand new.

I really want to know this.... my car really really needs an oil change... and of course I can do it myself.... but its fucking winter, so it makes things harder.... i'd have to lay a matt out under it... and blah blah blah.. but right around here all said and done ... meaning like the chepeast oil and the blah blah blah dispososal fee for the oil thats in ya shit... it was like 58$ and then the other one I checked out was like 52$ or something and I've got all that money.. but also... I know what that is I can do that myself.... and thats like a rape price as far as im conecerned

Well. Nothing would be as cheep as 50 suspension wise for one. 50 for the part maybe. Your talking between 85 and 125 an hr for a mechanics time, usually. But hey. Good luck diagnosing which element is bad. Doing the work is the easy part. Knowing what to do and how to identify it is what mechanics get paid for bruh

yeah im not a mechanic and not pretending to be.. but I can do more than the avearage person I would guess.. like I can change a serpantine belet ( thats probably not speled right).. I can change my own oil, I don't do it now because I have the money to pay someone to do it for me... but I still could

and yeah btw when you're talking about jeeps i've got a 2004 jeep liberty and that thing is amazing... and my girlfriend has a new jeep cherokee.. fuck that thing... other than the fact that its new it sucks

Yea I paid like 60 for the oil change. I'd gladly pay it again. Working on cars is the second most thing I hate in this world after moving.

Apparently my brakes were fine tho, they were screeching for weeks tho so I assumed they were shot. But they couldn't replicate it and I haven't heard it since I got it back?

I got a bearing starting to go bad a sway bar is bad and the shocks are close to needing replaced tho. Fml.

yeah see I'm not good at it... I can def change my own oil... except in super new cars that have weird things that you'd need a specific tool and or hoist for.

But i'll pay for my oil change during the winter because i've got this mat that still has my dads name and vietnam number on it.. haha.. i'll put that down but cold as fuck.. nah i'll pay for it.. but when its not super cold i'll do it myself.. I wouldn't say I like doing it but i'm cheap and I can by the oil and filter from auto zone or whatever and not get raped by the easy labor so I do it.

and what I do with other things.. like I've done brakes on mine once... and with other things the serpantine belt... on my other cars a few things...

but I try everything, and I'm not a patient person either so, i'll try for a day... and if I really get pissed off i'll try for half of the day the next day... and if I still can't do it.. take it to a pro and pay

sometimes I can't do it because I don't have the tools, sometimes I can't do it just because I can't... but I dedicate a day to trying... and then try part of the next day.. then fuck it.. have someone else do it
