Dave had some stuff that has been done before. Ryan Dunn, Black Sabbath. Along with some bars that didn’t really hit for me like untenable, bank balance, and then the waiting in the wings was wasted. Could have been a fire closer but was worded super lazy, especially for a SC final.


Swerve-

Yikes, blue chip might be cool, I haven’t seen it but it’s probably been done against Blue numerous times.

Period punches is super played.

Vehicular suicide I haven’t seen, it’s alright I guess.

Dave Mustaine is cool

Pushing you off bridge is super played

Wet behind the ears, mail them in a box is sub par

Lynch rashford works, not great though

Scope/rinse mouth, yikes super played

Prowlers/sex registry, same as above

Closer was mailed in. Like you had 10 seconds on the shot clock and just threw it up.


This battle was underwhelming. Dave had the asterisk bar which was LOTB and probably the only real great bar. Some played stuff, and then a couple decent punches.

Swerve struggled hard here. I can tell you had the effort, it’s just the concepts you went with have been done to death. I think I’ve used 3 of them myself. Not your fault, you probably didn’t even know, which has happened to me in the past when I first came back. Nothing in the verse sticks out for me, just a couple cool bars.

Was looking forward to this battle but it seems both of you were a little off. The asterisk bar won’t get as much love from everyone else but it’s the type I love, and almost made this battle worth reading.
