yeah blacks listen to rap... or some do at least, but hands down the majority of people back in the day buying CD's were middle class white people... and they aren't really looking to listen to some introspective white guy poetry rap..... that hits too close to home

they're looking for some Juvi back that ass up niggers with gold teef and chains doin hood rat stuff with they hood rat friends and smokin wif ciggwettes... shit they aren't used to seeing or hearing... thats part of the appeal
