You should recognize by now that the second to last episode of every season is the climax. Season 1's beheading, Season 2's Blackwater, and Season 3's Red Wedding were all episode 9. Then Benniof and Weiss explore the aftershocks of the previous episode and set up cliffhangers for next year.
I enjoyed the finale.
