What if Ben Shapiros debates don’t seem compelling because left views aren’t defendable against logic, and it’s not just that he preys on weak leftist?
I’ve never seen someone analyze a moment of his and defend what wasn’t defended well.

What I'm saying isn't anything related to the arguments he's making. It's that what you're watching isn't a 'debate'. All I'm saying is that to really draw someone to your side of an argument, you need to have some degree of empathy and understanding where those viewpoints come from, and if your 'opponents' are trying to play tic tac toe on your 4-d chessboard, you're not really going to engage them (or the more level headed people to share beliefs) meaningfully because they're all thinking defensively from the beginning. But the clearly intended audience of the shaprio videos I've seen are where my critism is coming from, not the arguements themselves.
