Diode probably could better. From my perspective 6 months in , a brown belt is nearly unbeatable and would kill me. I have almost no chance.
Really none tbh. And if any one would fight a purple or above they are so skilled that if it goes to the ground they will die unless the jitsu person chooses to show mercy. Hope I explained this well
