people honestly do a pretty good job of staying fresh somehow////text evolves and old concepts die...for me tho...the most offputting thing about text in this era is that everyone has the same style and format....BACK IN MY DAYYYYY people had style......wasn't necessarily always good style lol but u could tell the difference between two battlers without having to put a microscope to tiny idiosyncrasies

everytime someone shows up here on some other shit people wanna take a shit on them...most likely because they got the same treatment upon their arrival ...personally I love seeing someone do something new or out of the ordinary.....the concepts somehow manage to update....especially with current events changing ...but the same tired SET UP PUNCH SET UP PUNCH seems to prevail

id even like to see people setting up punches with 3 lines instead of just 1...it would lead to so many deeper concepts ....better fluidity and a chance for insane associations....but everyone wants to break down a verse line by line and god forbid u don't set up then punch ...auto discredited no matter what the shit says or how hard the following punch is

people voting with point systems for Christ sake when in reality no one judges a rap battle like that let alone gives a fuck about consistency.....people show up for the BANGERS....but people here could drop a bar with the meaning of life against a bunch of mediocre af concepts and theyd lose to "consistency"

old habits die hard I suppose but text is dying for a new perspective...especially if anyone ever wants other people to come here....but I guess if we are all cool with battling the same people until lama comes back like the phoenix from nc1s ashes then so be it
