Nah, I gotcha. I wasn't dismissing your critique. Just talking on the subject since this is what we "do". I read your stuff when I see it. You got skills. So your words have merit. Big Baby dug and hated my shit at the same time. Didn't bother me. All opinions hold weight. As a writer I feel it's my job to figure out how to communicate a message to the audience in a way that's true to my intent/heart, while also being mindful of how that message is being received by the readers. Otherwise, why share it at all? So I will definitely take the "stilted" part into consideration. Although, the effect was purposely intended to be fragmented, I do however easily understand how it may not have been percieved in that way. OAN. Whenever you have time check out my 'Deleted' piece.
