Talked to my counselor today. Got an appointment again tomorrow. We're going to work on a plan to make me sound somewhat stable so they don't think I'm just trying to get free meds when I go to the healthcare clinic. I'm going to see if I can't get meds for my anxiety and depression and see if they can't get me a sleep study set up for my sleep apnea. Once I get my mind right, and I can start building momentum in the right direction then I can start exploring custody options, because maybe I can go back to work at a decent paying job. Right now, my boss is essentially paying my rent and I'm working it off. If I get caught up on child support in the next few months, I can stop making back payments and have a little more money in my pocket.

This shit is chess, not checkers, fellas. I dug myself a hole so deep I can't even think about getting into a custody battle. I might strangle the ho.

We don't claim any benefits at all, I get a small "Marriage Allowance" so my tax code is altered slightly and I pay a little less but aside from that, the three of us live on my one wage in one of the nicest parts of my city

I know what you meant. Same here... MY chicks a dental Hygienists. She knows damn well she can return to work whenever she pleases. She rather stay at home for a couple of years with the baby... And no more kids for me, fuck that.

I did the same. The problem will be WHEN TO GO BACK TO WORK.

After 2 years it’s understandable to not want to work, and honestly raising a kid is s job in its self.
