@Captain Neckbeard, your opinion isn't as important as you think it is.
This song is better than previous efforts because he sounds comfortable in his current place. Is he right about his legacy and how people think he's washed up now? I don't really think so. I think it's just some sort of trope he's decided to run with for this song or maybe album. The dude (Em) is not very diverse, but he seems to be tackling the subject matter from a more grown up place. It's not as scatterbrained. Not saying it's the best song in the fucking world, but it's good. |
