monitor should have been recessed in to the wall with the tower, IMO with a shelf for the keyboard and keyboard only.

As far as stain for the pine wood. Pine is pretty soft so anything will mark it, ensure you coat it well with clear coat or w/e.

Darker color would be nice... Scuffs in the wood will be less noticeable unless you place a piece of plexi glass or glass on top to avoid ruining the weak ass pine you choose.

Lol I think the last time I saw a desk with atorage for the computer and a tray for the keyboard and mouse it was at my grandmama home

Thats why just a shelf for the keyboard bro. Monitor and Tower recessed inside of the wall would have been cleaner.
