This thread along with the athletes kneeling during "their" national anthem is exactly what american 1st world privilege is. If you were anywhere else in the world and you tried that shit you would get taken out back & wake up laying in a pool of your own blood.

There are plenty of ways to protest the injustice in this world kneeling during your nations anthem is not one, and what people perceive is all that matters. The world perceives Americans having no respect, no pride, and no love in their own country that they live in. If we don't respect ourselves who will?

You can describe a country to a team and no team can win without pride, love, respect, & energy into "your" team.
