this is my favorite one in a while. I, too, love how you use pop culture references idiomatically, not just in the Lucy line but also the give a mouse a meter line. very few writers - and I don't mean just on NC - have that ability to psychically lead you where they want you to go while at the same time allowing you to believe that it's your mind doing the exploration, and I think you pulled off that maneuver really well here. more, por favor.
