I'm a lyrical purist but there's so much more to music then that.
Melody, harmony and overall ambiance of a song is something all lyricists aren't great at. So yeah...someone might not be a great lyricist but maybe they're great at melodies or harmonies and that's why the populace takes to them. We need to appreciate all aspects of hip hop. |
