Hitler wasn't there to give Jesse Owens 'props', he had left the games after he chose to not acknowledge the athletes once he was told he must congratulate all or none, and he had snubbed an African American athlete at the beginning of the games anyway. He didn't have any contact with Jesse Owens. Although you're right that Roosevelt and The US did treat Jesse Owens like shit.
