Asylum & Artifice
8.He turned the key in the lock and opened the door. To his horror, he saw… I'm standing in a long hallway with walls covered in soot, pictures hang glazed with a grey haze, there's trouble afoot, memories burn and blister me as I remember them all, eventually i stand in awe at the entrance at the end of the hall, doorframes glow with flames equal to the end of the candle, the hinges r singed. Feel the heat emanate from their handles. Open the door n walk forward... last thing I remember, is seeing sadness scripted in the floorboards, burning ashes and embers. I woke up to smoke choking me to death in my sleep, it covered the world and creeped across the floor, I’m at peace. I hover over the room as a man in a yellow rubber suit grabs and shakes me, my pupils open like saucers as he madly berates me. Gladly, I’m waiting.. In the hospital room by the side of my bed, my families shaking. Madly awaiting the passively patient doc on his round to a massive list of patients, he’s standing adjacent, “Ma’am, I’m sorry to tell you your husband has passed, as he was read his last rites he asked me to tell you.. ”I love you,” in fact.” then she suddenly gasped... the tragedy made her mind snap in half in a terrible case of timing she started finding that she had to laugh a family distraught, now caught with a situation so awkward so a friend gets her purse n sweater, then takes her out and walks her they travel medicine's maze for an exit, crave a breath of fresh air but after every corner turned all they can declare is that Death's there little did they know they were headed right for the psych ward soon as it's in sight the lights whisper to the widow 'come thru this nice door' In the doorframe where the light poured, a slight form smiles warmly, the evil in his eyes spelled out in the patterns of lines forming. "I'd like to formally welcome you to Canyon View,"' a wave of his hand produced two men in high fashion suits, while theirs held lashes used to fasten patients in padded rooms, she screamed with passion to free her, pleaded and begged for mercy, "I need a phone please! It's an emergency," she yelled with urgency, fervently writhing and bleeding where the straps bit into her flesh, as they gagged her with a rubber ball she realized she was heading to her death. becoming scared n' spechless once demons see her marriage's secret sweet on the surface but perfect seeds of satan lay buried beneath it her graphic past flashes before her, the horror she barely believes it forced to relive running that orphanage full of horrid and terrible treatment now all she hears are the piercing screams, such murderous sounds building up to the couple's evil scheme to see it burn to the ground the first of a thousand sins found within his and her relationship satan holds a special place in hell and i can tell they've both urned a place in it |
