she looked pretty intent on on trying to prove her striking has become serviceable. while it seems to have improved, she had no business trying to stand with this chick

its one thing to look proficient when hitting mits while mike tyson watches you, but if you cant evade a left cross wtf are you doing lol

im pretty sure that holm chick landed every single straight left she threw. right down the pipe.

in rouseys defense tho maybe she was just using her striking to close the distance to grab her, which made her appear sloppy and outclassed with the hands, but she shouldve done nothing but shoot lol

Ronda is not a wrestler. She doesn't shoot for takedowns. She get em thru the the clinch. And she couldn't take down holly when they clinched. Which is surprising. And she couldn't clinch like she wanted cuz holly kept putting that left hand in her face and keeping her distance.

she shouldve shot for takedowns relentlessly, she had no business trying to close the distance with strikes to clinch for throws and shit. whether she's shooting for a double/single leg, or just shooting to get hands on her to work up to a clinch whatever
