I can just imagine Diode going on a five minute rant, with a verified bibliography, on the tax assessment process in Charleston being completely askew and how the mill rate is fucking "outrageous" and then trying to start a side rant about gun laws while boating being dated and also in need of revision before the reporter cuts him off and kicks it back to Anchor McSouthernFuckFace.

Actually ,it was the opposite. I come from NJ. The home value increase let me ditch PMI and escrow as well as lower my already low APR from 3.875 to 3.5, which more than offsets a nominal increase in my stupid-low prop taxes ($1300 last year for a 2800sq ft house on 1/3 acre).

property tax on my PA home is $3,400 a year
