Thanks man, I'm mad excited. I hired this guy to provide a 5week training program for him. The guy gave me half off $75 instead of the full $150 for the 5 weeks) because he knew this dog and worked with him and has got a soft spot for him
First day of training was walking on the leash without pulling. After just an hr of learning these tools and applying them, my dog no longer pulls on the leash at all. I may correct him with a quick tug maybe twice the whole walk but he gets right back by my left side no further than a foot away and walks WITH me, leash slacked and all. It's an amazing feeling to see him progress after just one lesson I never adopted a dog before, I grew up with a yellow lab that we bought out of a litter. So this adopted dog's behavior as far as eating is a little off. The humane society said the first month with a new dog in a new place is very crucial and that its normal. I walk him 3-4 times a day, 20 mins each time to ease that stress but still, I hope he will settle in. He already shows me and my girl a lot of affection and sleeps beside us. But today was the first day he seemed almost sad. @Knucklehead why would anyone think it's right to put a dog down at 6? Jesus. What kinda dog you got |
