Veritas and uh oh sorry but you guys have a theologically incorrect interpretation of what Jesus became. Why did he ride in to Jerusalem on a donkey? Why did he have beef with Pharisees? Why did he feel the need to say my above quote? He was an anti-revolutionary. He refused to profit off his teachings, to organize people into political action, or use his teachings as a way to disobey the law.
And yeah I'm working on the assumption that he existed and was god etc, because that's not even a necessary argument to have in order to show modern day Christians how contradictory their beliefs are to what Jesus actually did. He spent majority of his time on earth with the tax collectors and prostitutes etc, social outcasts that religious folk hated. Why wouldn't he do the same today? Jesus was, quite intentionally, a non-political leader, and butted heads with people who tried to make it political action several times in the gospels.

There is a very specific part in the gospels where he does that. He was a political activist in the mould of ghandi, if he existed (Jesus, not ghandi, i've seen pics of him, dick pics) which is a big if.

the religious who were at odds with him were the jews in power at the time, those same jews were put in power by the romans. jesus preaching his gospel and amassing followers in the downtrodden is alot like a rebel leader denouncing the views of the elite, gathering the power of the poor and beginning an uprising even if jesus wasn't against the romans themselves, he was definately opposed to the puppets of rome. i'm also arguing on the stance of him not being a real person, and being a creation who was based off of real jews who were against the known documented authority at the time considering all these gospels and writings were conceived at least 2 generations after he was supposed to have lived in that time romes stranglehold, and the jewish religous leaders stranglehold on the people became increased so them inventing a character to rally behind and create a new religion and shit makes sense but like i said i'd have to read it again which i probably won't lol.
