When he talks to his white friends, he talks to them about politics, religion, books and etc. He probably doesn't even realize he does it. One of my supervisors is a 60 year old Jewish guy. When he speaks to me, he speaks to me like we're on the same level. We talk about everything. Even the shit I don't know about he assumes that I'm knowledgable about the topic because he respects me. I have a former who absolutely hates White people, especially Jews. He's really smart but every time he has a conversation with someone he finds a way to bring up how evil white people are. Sometimes he makes good points but a lot of the time he's preaching hate too. The world is all fucked up. When I'm on the train, I gotta make sure I keep my distance from white dudes because I don't want them to think that I'm trying to rob them. Meanwhile, they keep their distance from me because they think I'm trying to rob them. It's what we're conditioned to do. Hip hop is supposed to break down those barriers. Instead, you try to use it to hurt people more. I can't fuck with that.
