Once you've hit your peak, the next year is a wash

Top highlight line was a tie between the "using liquor as a trojan horse..." and "trust me, I'm a rational person." The first was sad and the second was humorous, it was enjoyable to read such lines contrast with the more cerebral ones. Also enjoyed different references, Chinese New Years and Wizard of Oz were great.
