Alright here's where we hit a fundamental issue I see battles have: flipping pieces of a name and not being consistent on pronunciation. (@sn00p for some ipa demonstration). While you did the right thing for a partial name flip and went for the syllable it had a different vowel sound, you're still flipping the "pair" part of his name - in a live battle you wouldn't change your opponents name to flip it right?
