I can say I agree with it possibly turning into a police state maybe like a beginning of it with the NDAA and shit like that being in effect. But honestly right now it seems like they're just trying to catch the guy. And I gotta agree with Split about that bomb. It seems like if he's gonna go down he could set off something huge. That's true, but surely it's smarter and more respectful to wait until all is said and done, and piece it together then? Rather than run the risk of confusing the truth with fiction, not saying you are doing that but with the amount of information coming in constantly right now, how can you really know? It makes more sense to me to let it play out and look into it when things have calmed down a bit in a few days.

And I'm aware these type of conspiracies exist, whether this is one or not I don't know...I'm not disagreeing, just don't think it is right to jump to conclusions while everything is still so crazy.

I said earlier that I don't know what happened, but I do know the story they are feeding us is not right. Wish I was at home so I could hear audio of these police scanners. The truth comes out in those shits, listened to the Sandy Hook ones too, they told alot of shit that didn't make it to us

I'm not saying whether I do or do not oppose the regulations, I'm saying that recent transgressions lead me to believe they are considering a push for it.

It also troubles me that Obama has given the FBI and the rest of them continual power in this police state even though things have seemingly been wrapped up. It would be advantageous for another similar occurance to happen in the near future which would give them an even greater extension of power.

Chyea, CISPA is the privacy act, not to be confused with SOPA, the piracy act. In the weeks before all this chaos started to happen, the govt has brought CISPA back on the table. Their reasoning, I believe, is in result of cyber attacks on the govt. It's going up for vote quite soon, matter of days
