Why is text dead?

From my perspective, I feel like this shit was "cool" to do when you were young & had way too much time on your hand.

For me, I feel like I have to make time for this. I mean, I don't have to, I can just go back to not being on a hip hop / text message board.. But Yeahh.. I also don't know a lot of people / what age group they're in or whatever. I think all of that makes a difference.

And, I feel like some people, spend too much time reading verses and dealing with battle related rappers that they feel everything is played. Nothing's new under the sun, though.
