true that. what I meant was more along the line of, it's sad/funny how far gone the average person is on matters that SHOULD be common sense, that when Dr. Phil says something reasonable it's like "OMG."

But yeah, there will always be the moronic "why don't these black folk just pull themselves up from their bootstraps?" arguments. Yesterday a FB friend posted a status of how Obama is to blame for police brutality and the slew of high-profile racism issues in the past year, as if his 7 years in office has been ample time to eradicate 150+ years of post Civil War racial tension. I've quickly remembered why I wasn't on facebook.
