ravens got all of ngata's best years, and we received 0 DECLINE in our d-line in his absence last year when jernigan da god and brandon williams and etc took over.

with that said i have a heavy heart since i got a ngata jersey his rookie year.

but he had a huge cap number and wasnt willing to take the cut.

and i mean last year we got urschel in the 5th round who seen a good amount of playing time as a rookie in the o-line and was solid.

the year before that we got jucyzck or however you spell it in the 4th who is SOLID. and we got ricky wagner in the 5th that year who is our starting right tackle. GOON

but word basically ozzie will get players who will contribute.

in no way is it an equal trade, but its better than getting no one for him.

i mean this argument could fall apart tho if the ravens were to cut him and still have to pay cap penalties lol

but assuming they could cut him to free cap room, trading him is better

also we got compensatory picks coming from torrey and mcphee, although i don't think those are till next year? if so all the players we lost to free agency last year gives ozzie a ton more this year as well

basically the cap space is welcome for an aging goon who will always have a soft spot in my heart.

if anything a threat with some good coaching in his second year

as a former philadelphia resident, and a lifelong philly fan -i can honestly say that i was upset at trading mccoy -but i am definitely excited to see what this salary cap can bring to us. the eagles needed to make a strong move like this and unfortunatley we lost a great player -but the promise it offers is high, and i just hope they can deliver on it. we will see

the team has been known for going the distance and letting its fans down in clutch moments.... but i think if the head guys do whats rite and gain some key players then we will be able to produce more memories of success than the opposite in the future.

Wanted him to retire a raven but I think Williams & Jernigan will fill in fine. I would kinda like to see a new defensive coordinator. I'm not the biggest fan of dean tbh.
We can draft speed & hands in reference to Torrey. But he will be missed. Great guy

ya. they have A LOT of fucking work to do. its gonna take years to mold a superbowl ready team. and thats only once and IF they find the right people to join. its gonna be a long road
