I have also noticed similar things...one difference is other guys do it because it is an effective way of deflecting criticism, acting like you don't care, when in reality they probably do, using a fake niceness to try and keep your ego undented...my ego been dented for years, so I have different reasons, I do it because I have to make a conscious effort to fight off negativity in my own mind or my depression will get me in it's grips and I will probably kill myself.

I have to be nice, not for anyone else, for myself and my continued existence on earth.

I agree with witty. as soon as the rest of this board starts throwing stones at me ..you are quick to jump in and participate as if that's going to serve as some kind of camo like you just got initiated into the jock crowd or something. but then as soon as the attention is directed back towards you lol...you revert back to this clayton we are seeing now. you are quite transparent man.
