Ya man. From 98-08 apparently. Something about the way the coolant becomes ele trically charged andd causes the gaskets to fail quickly. Its a really interesting explanation that i never even considered. But apparently subaru knows about the flaw anf has since made repairs. They had recalls for any vehicle up to 08. I bought mine at an auction though. Unfortunately

ya, it was an auction car which i stole for 1,500. kbb @5,000 when i snatched it. everyone present at the auction was looking for caddies and shit. i knew what i wanted when i got there and soon as i saw my legacy gt i knew it was gonna be mine.

did not know until i bought it what subarus were about. i just knew i wanted one cause my homie had one years ago. it was dope, a legacy also but his was the sedan. mine is a outback design but looks dope.. heres a pic of what mine looks like
