I think the shot count was excessive. He was clearly shooting to kill. You shouldn't give weak men guns bc that's there go to defense.

FYI - you are always shooting to kill. No police officer, infrantryman, marine, etc. is trained to "shoot to wound" - that's a fool's game and a common myth. Always center mass, and failing that, aim for the head (center mass is preferred because it is, obviously, a much larger/easier target).

Most cops only shoot to kill if there is imminent threat from a weapon. If he wasn't so weak he couldve pulled out a baton or at most the taser.

You are completely and totally wrong. You never draw your weapon, period, unless you plan to kill. This is basic firearms training for civilians let alone police officers and military.
