This doesn't sound very thought through.

The way I see it, if you propose a million dollar bet that your friend wouldn't shoot you in the face, there are two possible outcomes.

1) He says, "You're right. I won't shoot you in the face. That's a ridiculous bet and I will not make it."

2) He shoots you in the face, you use your powers to heal yourself, say "HAHA, GOTCHA BITCH, IM STILL ALIVE!" and your friend says "HOLY FUCK. WHAT DID YOU-... HOW DID YOU-... BUT I JUST-... Oh, you owe me a million dollars."
