Yeah except it's not. You're thinking of the current 4k and/or 3Dtelevisions.
And Chromecast is anything but reliable. Regardless, projectors are at least three times the cost and don't do anything really at all.

you also are clueless about anything related to a projector. a projector does the same thing a tv does. it displays a picture. if you want to get into things like contrast ratio etc. then we can discuss. otherwise you are just... dumb. lol @ chromecast being anything but reliable. how much easier can it possibly be? hdmi in. usb and/or ac in/ wifi on. same way a smart tv's shitty app system works but with the ability to customize and adapt, plus the bonus of mirroring any screen. need more horsepower? roku, wd, firetv, etc. etc. etc. fucking raspberry pi box jesus.
