I'll say this: Muff was widely recognized as in a very strong second tier back in the days when text battling was at its peak in terms of participation and quality competition.

But he's fallen off, and the expectations for complexity have increased with the influx of long-bar people (who generally suck at wording but have good concepts).

What hurt Muff was alot of his bars, you can tell he was just thinking of something real quick and getting it out there. His setups were super basic. Had he spent a little bit longer on the setups it would have been worth it as the concepts were pretty good.

The Brown Recluse bar didn't score high bc of the "stung" part. They bite. They don't sting. Lol. But it was dope. A really dope concept.
