I actually thought for sure Lou Reed had been inducted years ago, and with his death he seems like the surest shot. The Smiths also already should be in. I think Green Day deserves to be in for their longevity, popularity and influence (even if that influence largely was on bad acts). Kraftwerk had tremendous influence that shows to this day, but they have an uphill battle even as they clearly deserve a spot.

I'm mostly pissed off that De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest didn't even break the list of finalists.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is such Werneristic crap, but I still follow it and get angry about it.
