@Certain --- going to a waaay back convo we had, it was OMEN i was thinking of...i didnt know he was a biter either, he didnt talk much just got mad love @ RM forever it seemed

Was it like a one-time bite or was he chronic with it?
Omen was a career biter. It seems what happened was he stumbled on some dude's collection of highly poetic rap lyrics (apparently the guy's archive had something like hundreds of choices), then started biting verses that somewhat fit topics week after week. People regularly pointed out his askew takes on topics, but the writing was so poetic that it was easy to just chalk it up to him being abstract.

He took over moderating duties basically as soon as anyone trusted him to so that he could find topics to match his verses. He did that for about two years and had probably the best record in the history of the RSTL before someone finally found him out. He also held multiple accounts in the league at various times and voted for himself.

At first, the question was whether he was simply recycling old verses. But quickly it became clear that he'd occasionally bitten other people's verses too, probably when he couldn't find a verse from his big archive that fit the topic. To my knowledge, the guy who actually wrote most of the verses was contacted and said he had no idea what the RSTL was.

Omen then proceeded to disappear and never be heard from again. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he was still around now, though.

The thing that pissed me off is when people thought myself and other veterans who were in The Elite with him knew about this. I had no idea, and I don't think anyone's record was more affected than mine. I had lost to Omen at least twice and tied him one other time in title matches. It later was revealed that he had voted for himself in a couple of those.
